The nice thing about Wen Sheng is that the fundamentals include footwork. This is important for two reasons. First too many people demonstrate standing basics with dead or no leg action. Secondly the footwork of the style is so distinctive that any fundamentals must show the nature of the leg actions. And this disk does.

Er Shi Lu Dan Ceng Kung Fu. We Sheng is a style that tries to truly blend external and internal. You can see any of these short groups of movement as one and/or all of three branches: Chi Kung, exercise or self defense. Teacher Wang shows them clearly and with many, many applications from the world of self defense. Like the title of another of his VCDs, there seems to be an emphasis on "Scraping Hands" which resemble something like Wing Chun or Xing Yi applications. The 12 methods divide into: 3 palms, 3 hammers, 3 elbows and 3 legs. Good stuff.
