It&#8217;s open door policy help to launch martial arts into the modern era. <!--more--><\/p>\n<div style=\"width: 91px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.plumpub.com\/sales\/kungfu\/collbk_fundamentals.htm#kt052\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" \" style=\"margin-left: 6px; margin-right: 6px;\" title=\"Chin Woo Kung Fu\" src=\"http:\/\/www.plumpub.com\/images\/BK_KF\/KT052m.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"81\" height=\"130\" \/><\/a><p class=\"wp-caption-text\">Clickimage<\/p><\/div>\n<p>We have for a few years now been offering a series of unusual books which show the famous Chin Woo First Year Curriculum. This was an attempt at constructing a GENERAL curriculum which encouraged a foundation and good basics from which the student could move into specific styles such as <strong>Mantis<\/strong> or <strong>Long Fist<\/strong>. These were forms like the Tan Tui which were so fundamentally solid that a student had no choice but to get better. They required TEN SETS to be learned in the <strong>first year<\/strong>.
