A Glimpse of Xing Yi

We continue to be excited about the new Adam Hsu DVDs coming from Taiwan. The word ‘thorough’, though possibly over-used by this writer, is an apt description of the instruction found in this series.

So, for a little glimpse of Xing Yi, here are a couple of clips taken from the several hours on Xing Yi.

This, in my estimation, is truly a benchmark method of preserving the traditional Chinese martial arts for the public-at-large and the continuation of the art.

Adam Hsu truly has done a superb job at organizing and presenting the material. This has to be one of the best dvds he has ever done.

The material and teaching really adds a lot to the Hebei xing yi I have already learned and practice.

Thankful and appreciative of his efforts, skill and intellect,
I only hope that he will also consider doing this with all of the material he learned from Liu Yunqiao, including the 6 Harmony praying mantis system.

Thanks for the kind words, Bob, and we at Plum sincerely agree: Adam’s contributions have been many but this method of presenting information is a major effort and opportunity. By the way, we’ve been including LiuHe TangLang moves in our Kung Fu classes and also find them unique.

  3. Stan Meador says:

Any chance of us getting a glimpse of his Tan Tui too?

  4. Plum Staff says:

    Hi Stan,
You bet, that’s coming up soon.
