Xing Yi Nei Gong, Pt 2: This Time It’s Personal

For about TWO YEARS, we have had to keep this want tag closely aligned with this important text, “Xing Yi Nei Gong: Xing Yi Health Maintenance and Internal Strength Development”, by Tim Cartmell and Dan Miller (of Pakua Journal fame)

But no longer!

The present publisher of the book kept delaying its reprinting, wondering whether or not there were enough customers to justify a new run. But we at Plum knew differently: It is one of the top requests for our want list. Plus, we thought, “Oh, great, another classic work on martial arts that is headed for ‘Out of Print’ land.”

Well, we just couldn’t let that pass, so we obtained the rights and reprinted it ourselves.

If you click on the image in this post, you will see something you haven’t seen in a very long time: the want tag has disappeared, and the book is NOW AVAILABLE.

And for those of you who may have missed it, we pushed the publisher a bit (ok, more than a bit) on the DVD, too, and here it is back in print!

Thank you so much for taking the initiative to reprint this. It arrived today and I’m looking forward to reading it tonight.

I’m also thrilled that the DVD is back– except I cannot understand the choice they made for the graphics on the DVD case. Really? 1960s -era karate and judo illustrations on the cover of a Xing Yi DVD? Complete with faux-Chinese script? Wow! But I’m not complaining, glad to have the DVD back, even if the graphics don’t match the content.

Still, as you can imagine, I am so happy that you wisely chose to reprint the book with the original graphics! Awesome job at bringing this book back!

    Hi Rick,
Glad it arrived. And we cannot agree with you more on the choice of cover art they chose to represent ALL of the DVDs that were once printed by Unique. It is almost an embarrassment. Luckily, the quality of the material will far outweigh the horrendous graphics!
