First, be advised that all of these VCD's are IN CHINESE ONLY. In our opinion that doesn't matter much because the instruction is clear and the quality of photography very good. Each of these special VCD's can be played on a computer for full enjoyment. Made for PC's they are also Mac compatible by downloading Quick time (for free) and any similar VCD player program. Also playable on most DVD players. For less than $10.00? Wow!

WHITE EYEBROW Boxing
(Pak Mei, Bok Mei, Bai Mei)

White Eyebrow is a Kung Fu system created by a Taoist monk of the same name. "White Eyebrow" is an honorific for someone who is sagely and can also refer to a white headband. It is one of the major Southern Short Arm systems which includes Wing Chun, Southern Praying Mantis and White Eyebrow. All three of these have versions of Sticky Hands and specialize in tight combat techniques. There is entirely too little available about this respected and representative system. Our suspicion is that there are far more White Eyebrow practitioners out there than people suspect. Certainly we get a lot of queries about the system. Take this entry as the beginning of an attempt to form a nexus of information on this important branch of Wushu.

This is one of the key sets of the White Eyebrow system. It is demonstrated on a rooftop with different camera angles. Everything is then broken down and shown fast and slow. Applications are also given. As always, Bak Mei is a concentrated, fast hand style with tight sweeps and direct punches.
