First,
be advised that all of these VCD's are IN
CHINESE ONLY. In our opinion that doesn't matter much
because the instruction is clear and the quality of photography
very good. But we will not accept returns just because people didn't
read... IN CHINESE ONLY. Given
that, these are really tremendous deals for the money. Each of these
special VCD's can be played on a computer for full enjoyment. Made
for PC's they are also Mac compatible by downloading Quicktime (for
free) and any similar VCD player program. Also playable on most
DVD players. For less than $10.00? Wow! |

Double VCD,
VCD pricing, Chinese Only
In
this third stage of VCDs the teacher shows entering and techniques
not just using basic strikes but countering, jamming, slipping and
generally responding with counteroffensive actions. A little closed
to actual self defense and fighting techniques, this complements
the earlier disks which set everything up by showing the fundamental
attacks of the system. |
VCD#1160
Eagle
Sect Dragon Form Claw
About
an hour,
VCD pricing, Chinese Only
This
entire series is a breakdown of how specific weapons are used in
the art of Kung Fu. This one concentrates on skills with the claws,
including some joint locking, Sou Gu. Yang Wei also gives classic
exercises such as pot holding, sand thrusting, bag catching to strengthen
the weapons. His approach is direct with a lot of tactical discussion. |
VCD#1161
Eagle
Sect Tiger Push
About
an hour,
VCD pricing, Chinese Only
The
art of the Push is brought to a high level in this VCD with many
examples of pushing as a response from numerous angles. The disk
starts with Chi Kung specific to the skill. Then it goes into
counters for all kicks of attacks with the Push being the final
movement. Interesting.

VCD#1164
Eagle
Sect Jin
Gang Fingers
About
an hour,
VCD pricing, Chinese Only
The
counter attacks here concentrate on "finger skills" and
are therefore somewhat more specialized. Definitely not one to allow
the kids to try since there are eye shots involved. Also some specific
attacks to acupressure points. |

VCD#1166
Eagle
Sect Jin
Gang Elbows & Knees
About
an hour,
VCD pricing, Chinese Only
You've
got to have elbow and knee strikes to be a complete Kung Fu fighter
of course. This VCD shows the different applications of these weapons
along with conditioning exercises such as light stick beating to
toughen the arms around the elbow. Also some counters to elbow attacks
at close quarters. |
VCD#1167
Eagle
Sect Jin
Gang Kicks
About
an hour,
VCD pricing, Chinese Only
Flexible
and light, the kicking arts of Kung Fu are less formalized than
many other arts but still effective. Many combinations are shown
along with entering kicks and counter actions of the legs. Some
discussion is given of proper application and strategy. |
VCD#1168
Eagle
Sect Jin
Gang Arms
About
an hour,
VCD pricing, Chinese Only
This
VCD explores the use of the arm as a weapon, not the fist, palm
or fingers but the entire arm. This is a significant piece because
people think of the arm as just transporting the weapon. But when
we say "fist" or "palm" in Kung Fu we always
mean the entire structure. |
VCD#1169
Eagle
Sect Jin
Gang Leaning
About
an hour,
VCD pricing, Chinese Only
Kao
is a generic word which can mean lean or bump. This is the fine
art of butting, bumping, slamming et al. The demonstrations show
many methods of entering to finish with a quick and forceful slam
jam or bump of the shoulder, head and or hip. Tight and dirty work.
