Wu-Dang
Nei-Jia Night Traveler Sect
A
style like Wu Dang reverses the Shaolin progression. This is an
important point. Shaolin has always gone from "hard to soft"
and Wu Dang from "soft to hard". The point being that
there are no "soft" or "hard" styles, just approaches
to the overall elements needed for good Kung Fu.
One of Wu Dang's attributes is a planned and graduated approach
to Tzu Ran (ZiRan) or "naturalness." In this case the
movements, some of which are hard, some soft show a blending of
the powers of Yin and Yang. Of all the series we've seen this one
emphasizes stance/breath training the most.
