This is a good one. The wonderful, energetic instructor Ma Hong here lectures but also demonstrates his practical, strong and clear understanding of Chen style Tai Chi. Ma Hong stands as a tower, unwilling to change to more contemporary, prettier versions his T'ai Chi is now becoming admittedly a version of the real Chen style. We were privileged to see him in person demonstrate in California and the word that kept coming to mind was integrity regarding his strong, clear presentation.

This is essentially a LECTURE VCD with Zhang ShihFu mostly sitting at a table and talking about many aspects of Tai Chi done properly. He particularly emphasizes the relationship between posture and breathing and, by inference, internal organ work. He stands briefly and shows a breakdown and exemplifies his words regarding the harmonizing of the actions in Chen Tai Chi. In this case we recommend only for Mandarin (PuTongHua) speakers.
