Pi Gua, though not well known outside China, is a wonderful,
expressive and beautiful style of Kung Fu. Based on the actions
of the Snake and the Eagle, it is famous for its "empty sleeve"
loseness where stirring, flapping, and whirling movements combine
in a flurry of powerful but soft actions. At one point in history
it was realized to be the perfect compliment to another great
style: Ba Ji and the two are often taught together.
Pi
Gua's essential structure is demonstrated in these tapes by Master
Adam Hsu, a world-renown practitioner.
