#10036
Cheng Style 8 Palms
Here
is a demonstration and a breakdown of the Eight Palm Changes of
the Cheng style of Ba Gua- one of the most famous. The basic form
(Tao Lu) is done in a field and the instruction in a studio. Very
clear movements and the teaching is quite lucid. A nice form with
sophisticated palm changes and a long stepping method. Also, the
general movements of the teacher, Liu Jing Ru, are well practiced,
pleasant and professional. To our mind a traditional sequence with
possibly some more contemporary influence but basically solid and
respectable. And all Eight Changes for this price! A great reference.

#10038 Swimming Body BaGua
Teacher
Liu Jing-Ru of the Cheng Style of Ba Gua Zhang (Eight Trigram Palms)
demonstrates a "Swimming Body" series of palm changes.
Much tighter than many other styles this has quick hand changes
and subtle body movements. A very "twisty" form of BaGua
subtle for all students.

#10039 Elk
Horn Knives
Cheng
Style BaGua instructor Liu Jing Ru shows the form and basic of the
famous BaGua Crescent Knifes (also known as the Elk Horn Blades).
Practitioners should be aware that the Elk Horns are not easy to
master and have some danger to their practice. But, though originally
a standard weapon in China, these double curved blades have become
associated with the style of BaGua Zhang (Eight Trigrams Palm)..
