Here is a re-issue of the first ever English language presentation of the "fourth internal art" of 6 Harmonies and 8 Methods. LHBF is also known as Water Boxing. It is a beautiful system of martial arts with movements and prinicples similar to Tai Chi, BaGua and Xing Yi. It is a rare and extensive martial form containing 510 techniques. Created by a legendary yogi, Chen Xi-Yi (Hsi-Yi) in the 10th century during China's Sung Dynasty; Water Boxing reflects the founder's intrinsic oneness with the order of nature, or Tao.

ABOUT LiuHe-BaFa: This art enhances human potential through the progressive cultivation of the "Six Harmonies": body and mind, mind and will, will and ch'i, ch'i and spirit, and finally spirit and emptiness. In the Chinese martial arts world 6/8 boxing is one of the most rare and advanced forms.

Dr. York Why-Loo was a very accomplished martial artist with over 50 years of practice. Having mastered the Tai Chi of Yang, Chen, Wu and Sun he also learned the rare LHBF boxing from Pan Yan-Lew. He served as head of several hospitals and acupuncture institutes in China and Hong Kong and trained over 3000 medical personel during his life. This video shows Dr. York performing the set. Then Terry Dunn performs the same set with subtitled movement names added. Finally there is a second performance of the form by Dr. York.
