Some styles, the obvious example is Cha Chuan, are structured to be beautiful in either their Contermporary or Traditional trappings. Yan Qing (Mi Zong or Lost Track) Style is one of these. Perhaps it comes from the huge size of the system (100 forms), from its long history and from its penchant for blending with other styles to form hybrids. Here are a few more offerings from that big banquet table. They say Yan Qing was first effective confusing soldiers in the snow and what could be a better season for a “lost track” boxing style?
